Summary:

Effective fault analysis and protection are vital for secure and reliable operation of power systems. However, with high penetration of renewables such as wind and solar, the fault features of new type power systems become quite different, causing challenges for power system fault analysis and protection. This session focuses on advances of research and development of power system fault analysis and protection, to assist secure and reliable operation of new type power systems.
